left the time as a small, regional event behind, have tens of thousands of visitors and only expensive top acts fill their
stage. Or they are one of that top acts, have worked hard for the high fee over the years and live from their own music.
Then there are the other others. They let pissed-off security staff annoy their own visitors or throw them out for
"inappropriate dancing". Or the very special others who sell their souls after a few weeks of quota-making on a private
broadcaster, no longer recognize themselves afterwards
and, luckily, mostly disappear into insignificance after a
few weeks of media presence.
These others can afford paid photographers and they
should do that. After all, not only they want to make a
living, but also our full-time colleagues.
It goes without saying that we also reject events and
bands that speak out against a cosmopolitan, colorful
society. Racism, xenophobia, anti-Semitism,
homophobia, sexism and other stupid clutter from the
Stone Age have no place with us. For once we are
intolerant of this.
That doesn't make us left wing, we‘re just people who
reject right-wing ideologies. We reserve the right to
pack up our stuff in such a case and delete all
pictures taken up to this point in time.
